2 Broke Girls Moves To Mondays

Survival, we’ve all had our wits tested at one point or another and have felt as if the whole weight of the world is on our shoulders and all we are trying to do is get through one day at a time. Before there is security and success in our lives we must first face a path of steep slopes and high mountains, but this is what makes our success even more enjoyable. The fact that you worked hard for your goals, the fact that you were put to the test, and the fact that you survived!

Not that long ago I was a full-time college student and an aspiring music artist just making it day by day. Now everyone may or may not know this but, the music industry is not all glamor and easy money. I had to make jingles for different entity’s and small businesses just to scrap up some food money. I mean I’m talking about some very un-lyrical verse’s like “hickory-dickory stop!” That would be like listening to Lil Wayne sing his ABC’s. Then I would have to think of ways to set up a date with my wife with only $30.

Well, the movie tickets alone were about $18, but buying a soda or popcorn at the movie theater was out of the question. So I’d stop at the gasoline store spend about $6 getting a few sodas, a hotdog, some candies and a few other snacks. And then I would have my wife put them in her handbag so we could sneak them into the movie. I would crack up every time we were in the movie theater and I opened up a can of soda as you could hear the distinct “psssst” sound as you pop the top from a can of soda. By then everyone would know that you snuck in snacks to the movie theater. But , nonetheless we still had a great time and enjoyed every bit of that movie.

Well I know of two girls who are stuck in somewhat of the same situation and to be honest with you their weekly stories crack me up every time! As a matter of fact this is one of my wife’s favorite shows, and if you haven’t checked them out lately tonight would be a good time to start, as 2 Broke Girls has moved to a NEW TIME – Mondays at 8:30/7:30 c on CBS.

2 BROKE GIRLS is a comedy about the unlikely friendship that develops between two very different young women who meet waitressing at a diner in trendy Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and form a bond over their dream of one day owning their own successful cupcake business. Only one thing stands in their way – they’re broke.

Sarcastic, street-smart Max Black met the sophisticated, school-smart Caroline Channing when the uptown trust fund princess was having a run of bad luck due to her father’s Wall Street scandal, which caused her to lose all her money and forced her to give waitressing a shot. At first, Max sees Caroline as an entitled rich girl, but she’s surprised to find that Caroline has as much substance as she does style.

When Caroline discovers Max’s knack for baking amazing cupcakes, she visualizes a lucrative future for them and they begin to save money to reach their start-up money goal of $250,000. As the girls’ cupcake tally expands week-to-week, they become closer to their goal and to each other. At the diner they are surrounded by their offbeat, colorful “work family”: Oleg, an overly flirtatious cook; Earl, a hip 75-year-old cashier; Han, the eager-to-please owner of the diner; and Sophie, the girls’ outrageous upstairs neighbor. As Max and Caroline climb toward their goal, we see that their “smarts” plus their “hearts” might just be the recipe for success
