Brian McKnight put youtube into overdrive last night with the release of a video that previews “If You’re Ready to Learn,” a cut off of his adult-themed mixtape.
The singer-songwriter delivered raunchy lyrics that caught many by surprise. “Let me show you how your pu##y works. Bet you didn’t know that it could squirt,” he sings.
McKnight later took it to Twitter to defend the track after many blasted it for being too dirty. “Funny how most of these folks have never been on my timeline when i wrote safe songs. One sex filled song and I’m trending lol,” he wrote after becoming a trending topic. “Its just sad that this is what I had to do to get most of these people to even acknowledge me.”
