Starring Josh Holloway (Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, TV’s “Lost”), Laz Alonso (Jumping the Broom, Avatar), Caity Lotz (TV’s “Arrow,” Bring It On: All or Nothing), Josh Peck (Red Dawn, TV’s “Drake & Josh”) and GRAMMY^®-winning artist Chris Brown (Best R&B Album, “F.A.M.E.” 2012), BATTLE OF THE YEAR follows a legendary break-dancing crew’s return to its roots in order to reclaim the world championship after more than a decade of defeat.

B-Boys fans can learn new footwork and explore the making of the movie with kickin’ bonus features, including extended dance sequences of three full routines, as well as three, behind-the-scenes featurettes exclusive to the BATTLE OF THE YEAR Blu-ray 3D and Blu-ray.  “This Is Planet B-Boy: Inside the Culture” explores the evolution of the B-Boy dance style and culture, while “Preparing for Battle: Training & Rehearsals” features choreographers, cast and filmmakers on what it took to put all of the dance sequences together.  In “The Art of B-Boying: A Guide to Breaking,” fans will hear from the cast and crew on the various elements that make up the B-Boy lifestyle, including unique B-Boy names and signature moves, as well as an insider’s guide to dance moves.

This movie has not only got the much needed moves that you need to add to your arsenal, it also has some of this year’s hottest tracks! Each character has his own unique story that come to grow on you as the movie progresses, however the movie has so many dance scenes that you hardly have a chance to catch your breathe!
